Marsala, San Pantaleo and Selinunte
Breakfast in hotel. Departure for Marsala and brief visit to the old town centre. Then, transfer to Mothia Island. Almost in front of Marsala, the sea forms a lagoon called Stagnone whose centre is occupied by Scuola Island, Santa Maria Island, and San Pantaleo Island, which is the seat of the Phoenician colony of Mozia. The main finds of the area are preserved in the Archaeological Museum founded by Giuseppe Whitaker, a passionate historian and archaeologist. Lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon, visit to Selinunte, which boasts the largest archaeological park in the Mediterranean region, where it is possible to admire the ruins of the Eastern Temples and the Acropolis located in beautiful natural scenery. Transfer to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
